International conference and participation of Polish producers at MEDICA

In mid-November, Dusseldorf became the world capital of medical equipment manufacturers. All because of Medica faire that took place on November 12-15.

Under the Sector Promotion Programme of Medical Device and Measuring Equipment Industry, which we hold, we took part in the trades. We organized exhibition stands for Polish manufacturers of medical equipment. Traditionally, as every year, we welcomed the opportunity to meet the producers from all over the world. What was most valuable for the representatives of medical sector, were our services of introducing medical products into Polish, Turkish and Latin America markets.

Additionally, during the trades, we organized an international conference dedicated to the promotion of innovative products made in Poland. The export potential of Polish sector of medical equipment and measuring device producers is still underestimated. Our economy can boast of many competitive advantages in this field. New technologies in OR equipment, innovations in cardio surgery and cardiology were presented at the conference. Additionally, the attendees were presented a report on the Polish medical equipment sector condition. Among the speakers, we hosted the scholars, Polish producers and journalists for the professional press.

We are glad that thanks to a widespread promotional action (ad in German professional press, newsletter, leaflets, informative banners, individual invitations for potential partners), we managed to gather the group of approximately 150 attendees – the representatives of medical equipment importers and distributors, scholars, public institutions from the sector from such places, as: Brazil, China, Germany, Pakistan, Turkey, Czech Republic, Egypt, USA, Croatia, Korea, Greece or Lithuania.
